Serena Williams def. Sara Errani 6-3 6-0
Serena re-establishes herself as the hot favourite going into Paris by winning her in minimal fuss. Errani picked up an injury but I doubt it made much of a difference had she not been injured. Serena's movement is spectacular and her fitness is at its peak. It will be tough for anyone to beat Serena now. As for Sara, she can console herself by beating a couple of worthy opponents along the way, but her game is never going to win her a big title sadly.
