Pattaya SF: Kirilenko vs Sabine final

Pattaya SF:

Maria Kirilenko vs. Sorana Cirstea

A rematch of last year's semi-finals and I do not expect a change in result. Kirilenko has proven herself to be a steady top 15 player and will be too consistent for the wild Romanian. With Hantuchova out, Kirilenko is the main favourite to win this tournament. Cirstea really needs to play a clean game but with the volatile girl, you'll just never know what to expect.

Pick: Kirilenko in 2 sets

Sabine Lisicki vs. Nina Bratchikova

A re-focused Sabine Lisicki reaches her first semi-finals since Bali 2011. She looks good to advance to her first final since Dallas 2011 against Nina Bratchikova. With her huge game, it will be hard to control but Sabine seemed to have found her form from 2011. She has been working hard during off season and hopefully the results show. Bratchikova must be steady and wait for Sabine's errors, however, the Russian might commit them herself first.

Pick: Lisicki in 2 sets

Paris matches not analysed as results of the QF are not in yet.
