However, if Samantha Shanksur turns up, anybody across the net has a chance.

Is Angelique fully recovered? This question needs to be answered or else there's no use trying to predict this match. Kerber, if fully fit, will take Irina Camelia easily. However, judging by how nonchalant the German behaved in Dubai, I believe her back injury is still bothering her. Back injuries take notoriously long to recover, and many players have their careers ended by back injuries. I doubt Kerber is 100%, she might be there just to fulfil her commitments.
