Indian Wells SF: Heading for a Li Simona final

Simona Halep vs. Agnieszka Radwanska

Simona Halep will enter this match knowing that she won the last 2 encounters against Radwanska, and winning the 9 out of the last 10 matches she played. Agnieszka played well against Jankovic, but Simona's mental game is pretty much up there, so she won't unravel like Jelena did. Still, I think Agnieszka isn't going to go down without a fight, but the Romanian will be likely to reach her second consecutive mandatory premier final here.

Pick: Halep in 3 sets

Li Na vs. Flavia Pennetta

Two of the oldest players in the tournament proves that age is only a number. Pennetta overcame Sloane in a topsy turvy match which Stephens should have won. Experience paid off in the end as conditions were very tough to play in. After that exhausting match, it is almost safe to say Li will cruise to the finals with Flavia fatigued. Besides, Li just won their last match in Melbourne easily, so that will give her the confidence in this match.

Pick: Li in 2 sets
