US Open final: Serena claims number 17

US Open final:

Serena Williams def. Victoria Azarenka 7-5 6-7(6) 6-1

Despite having won 16 grand slams, Serena Williams was still nervy when she attempted to close the match in the second set. She was broken twice when serving for the match, and looked tight with the blustery conditions complicating things. However, she steadied herself after losing the close second set and finally claimed her 17th Grand Slam to become the oldest Grand Slam winner. Will the American equal or topple Steffi Graf's total slam tally? With her utter dominance this year, nothing is impossible! Respect to Serena, we are not worthy.
