Petra Kvitova captures her first title of the year by winning a roller coaster match against Li Na. After sneaking away with the first set, Kvitova couldn't keep the ball in the court for the next 4 games. She went 0-16 in points, more than half of a golden set. However, she started to use her brains again after that tremendous bad spell and emerged the winner here. It is always the story with Kvitova's matches. The match is always in her hands. If she raises her game, there is not much her opponent can do. Li can take some positives from here. Despite losing, she did very well to reach her first final since Rome and she re-enters the top 10. With Bartoli slumping badly, it seems that Li's place in the top 10 is safe. Well done to both girls.
