Samantha is the highest seed left now and it remains to be seen how she handles the pressure. She faces Cibulkova, who took out the world number 1 handily. Unlike Azarenka's shaky serve, Samantha has a monster of a serve and her kick serve alone will trouble Dominika immensely. Being one of the shortest players, I think Cibulkova can try smashing one of those serves which will kick above her head. Just a plain bad match-up here and I cannot see Stosur losing this. Unless she is too pressurized to perform that is.

Intriguing match here as newly top 10-er Kerber seeks to cement her place in the top echelons of women's tennis. Kerber is the favourite here but Sara is high on confidence after slaughtering Svetlana in her previous round. However, Sara is an abysmal 0-26 against top 10 players and she's looking at her best chance to get a win here. Clay is obviously not Kerber's preferred surface but smart tennis and her fighter mentality has gave her success this year. Will Sara finally notch a win over a top 10 player? Or will fighter Kerber emerge and squeeze out another 3 sets win?
