(Q) Kirsten Flipkens (BEL) leads (6) Roberta Vinci (ITA) 64 65

Kim Clijsters (BEL) d. Francesca Schiavone (ITA) 63 76(7)

24 straight sets win against Schiavone. Francesca is truly Kim's bitch. How someone who is on the tour for so long and has beaten top players not manage to win a single set against Clijsters is beyond me. Francesca certainly has the game to trouble Kim as evidenced in the 2nd set. But Kim was so clutch in the 2 set points, it was like "I will never allow myself to lose a set to this bitch!" LOL... Great serving from Kim, never getting broken once. It will be the 2nd straight match where she wasn't broken. Great for her as her serve has always been shaky. Now can someone just give her the title already? :D

(8) Nadia Petrova (RUS) d. (3) Dominika Cibulkova (SVK) 62 60

Oops... What a beatdown by Nadia Petrova. Cibulkova certainly cannot handle big servers. This surface only helps to prove that point. Well, Nadia is a good grass player so an upset was always looming. I guess Cibulkova has a long way to go before she establishes herself as a top player.

Tamira Paszek (AUT) d. Tsvetana Pironkova (BUL) 60 64

Another trashing. This time by Tamira Paszek to Pironkova. It was unexpected as Tsvetana took out Radwanska easily. Also, Tsvetana possesses a bigger serve than Tamira's soft delivery. Maybe Tamira has improved her serve to not be broken in the first set. It is a pleasant surprise for the young Austrian who has been struggling for the past year.
